Alumni Scholarships
The Alumni Association awards scholarships annually to alumni. Scholarship recipients have demonstrated their ability to put campers first in all of their actions surrounding camp, shown continued dedication to the program over the years, as well as embody the spirit of RYLA.
The process for selecting the scholarship winners has traditionally been an open nomination period throughout the first several days of camp, with all alumni eligible to nominate a fellow alumnus. A selection committee of past scholarship winners go through the nominations and make their selections on the last night of camp, based on nominations received throughout the week. The awards are given during Wrap Up on the final morning of camp.
Our campaign goal this year is $5000, and we will have regular updates on our progress! Remember, it's not about how much you give, it's about the idea of supporting your fellow alumni and their dedication to this amazing organization.
